Provide First Aid Training is delivered in line with state/territory regulations, first aid codes of practice, Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and workplace procedures This course replaces what was previously known as Apply First Aid and also known as Senior First Aid courses or Level 2 Workplace First Aid.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. The course will provide you with an understanding of how to apply immediate or emergency care of an injured or sick casualty, basic life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders or bystanders until more advanced medical help arrives.
