Australian Native Food Co. Story:
Our story is as unique as our amazing product range. The company was founded by Chris Roberts-Yates and Rebecca Paris in 2019 to assist with the ever growing community and industry need for quality hospitality vocational training. As industry leaders we realised that there was an immediate need for ‘real world and truly authentic’ work hardening opportunities, work experience and employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians, the long-term unemployed, the secondary schooling sector, at risk youth as well those in the disability sector (NDIS) within South Australia.
Our aim is to empower the next generation of South Australians and assist those seeking employment opportunities primarily within the hospitality and food manufacturing sectors. We are committed to supporting local communities and as such part of all profits made from this venture are reinvested back into the community via literacy and numeracy programmes thereby creating brighter futures for all South Australians. Our mission is to inspire and nurture the human spirit by creating brighter futures for all via the medium of food. We aim to introduce our products into the worldwide market and showcase the amazing flavour sensation of Australian native outback ingredients in our ready to eat food products. We are focused upon the use of local fresh products and produce as well as supporting local communities. Our goal is to redefine the meaning of Australiana cuisine and gastronomy globally by incorporating our fusion styled cookery techniques, thereby creating our own unique culinary identity. Our aim with each product is to ensure an exceptional customer experience which is focused upon people, products, place, price and promotion.
